Ultrasound

MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS

Ultrasound machines are essential diagnostic tools in medical imaging that use high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of internal body structures. The main components include a transducer, which emits and receives sound waves; a central processing unit (CPU), which processes the echo signals; and a display monitor for visualizing the images. When the transducer is placed on the skin, sound waves travel through the body and bounce back upon hitting different tissues and organs. These echoes are captured by the transducer, converted into images by the CPU, and displayed on the monitor, enabling healthcare professionals to diagnose and monitor various medical conditions effectively.
